Irish Coming to BBF With New Attitude

September 30, 2009

The Aquinas Fighting Irish have a new attitude on the gridiron thanks to new coach Matt Lezotte, and its starting to produce wins.

The Irish are off to their best start in 4 years, and won their Homecoming game 55-19. Lezotte, a former star quarterback at James Madison and Augusta's Westside High, is one of the youngest head coaches in Georgia at only 26. He has his team riding a two-game winning streak into Lincolnton this Friday night for the Red Devils' Homecoming.

Our Red Devils will be adjusted as best they can to the loss of our outstanding running A. G. Middlebrooks. Others on offense will need to step up to get the region campaign off to a good start.
