The new coach attended spring practice in Lincolnton, and was impressed with the Red Devil athletes. Expectations are high for a more powerful offense this fall.
Coach Doolittle's Ninety Six teams won 101 games in his 12 seasons as the Ninety Six head coach, including three trips to the state finals. Prior to Ninety Six, he was 10-3 at Allendale-Fairfax in 1993. His teams have won 8 or more games 7 times. In the three-year stretch starting in 1999, the Wildcats won 40 while losing only 5.
