Pace Academy Visits Lincolnton In School's First Playoff Game

The Knights from Pace Academy will play their first ever playoff game Friday night when they take the field at Buddy Bufford Field. Kickoff is slated for 7:30.

The Atlanta private school is in their third year of varsity football competition, and sport an impressive 9-1 record. The Knights finished third in 5-A, with their lone loss to powerful Wesleyan.

The Knights have a pass-oriented attack, according to info posted on GAVSV.com. Josh Swann is an outstanding basketball player that is playing in his first football season. He is the primary target for QB Will Brewster from his split-end position. He has breakaway speed, and has returned kicks for touchdowns. Their primary running back is a freshman.

Pace Academy is providing coach bus service to the game for its students and parents.
