Lincoln County's top-ranked Red Devils will seek their seventh win of the season this Friday when they travel to Washington to take on the Washington-Wilkes Tigers. The pigskin will fly at 7:30 to open the Red Devil's region slate of games.
The Tigers have won three of their last four games after starting with three losses. After whipping McCormick 41-21 and Butler 36-16, the Tigers fell to Mount Paran Christian 40-32 two weeks ago.
Lincoln County leads the all-time series 43-39-6, and has won the last three meetings.
In the first Region 8-A Division II games of the season, Washington-Wilkes whipped Lake Oconee Academy 26-10 and Warren County rolled over Greene County 48-7. LOA (2-5 overall) will travel to Warren County (3-4) this Friday while Greene County (1-6) has a week off.
