Lincoln County again dominated the first half enroute to a 54-0 blowout of Region 7-A foe Georgia Military College Prep. Our Devils scored early and often to take a 40-0 halftime lead.

Sophomore Shawntavius Jennings, starting for the injured Gavin Williams, scored on runs of 15 and 65 yards. Senior RB Antonio Searles also scored twice, on runs of 42 and 13. Travis Clark scored on an 8-yard run and tossed a 40-yard scoring pass to Josh Beard.
In Region 7-A action Friday night, Johnson County (1-5) won its first game of 2003 with a 34-15 win over Aquinas. Our Devils travel to Augusta to take on the 3-3 Irish next Friday night. Twiggs County and Warren County had open dates.
In other Class A games of interest, Savannah Country Day defeated McIntosh County Academy 21-14 in a mild upset. Commerce ended its two-game losing streak with a 28-14 win over Madison County. Social Circle continued its surprising season with its third straight win, 20-7 over AAA Franklin County. Pacelli Catholic School from Columbus, with the help of some new arrivals, blew out hapless Stewart-Quitman 67-0; Pacelli won't win that big next week, when they visit Miller County.
