Twiggs was expected to contend for the 7-A crown, but Hancock has been somewhat of a surprise this season with a 2-1-1 mark. With a win over Twiggs Friday night, and a win in Lincolnton the following week, the Bulldogs could shock the state and all but clinch the 7-A title midway the season.

GMC visits Warren County and Aquinas plays at Wilkinson County to round out the 7-A slate of games.

Eagles Landing Christian Academy, fresh off an upset of Social Circle, has another tough battle this week - this time in Bremen. Bowdon looks to start a new winning streak this week when the western Red Devils host Landmark Christian.
