The next offensive series saw the Devils struggle with penalties, as two touchdowns were called back for illegal motion and holding. "We had to overcome some penalties. I was proud of the way we overcame the adversity and continued to play," commented JV head man Kevin Blizzard. In the second half the offense settled down and after a few good runs by FB jarren brown and RB alex ellis, RB josh sims scored on a 40 yard run and after a missed PAT, the devils led 29-0

The red devils defense forced the blue devils to punt after strong defensive plays by DB jafabian green and DB A.G. Middlebrooks.

On the next possession the second string offense took the field. On the first play, A.G. Middlebrooks took a sweep play 60 yards to the endzone and after a PAT by kicker Ashton Brantley the Devils led 36-0.

The bench was emptied and all players got playing time from the middle of the 3rd quarter until the end of the game. Elbert County drove the ball down the field and scored to make the final score Red Devils 36, Blue Devils 6.
